The tide hindcasts/forecast calculated here use tidal constituents from the Oregon State University global tide model
TPXO7
which is based on measurements by the
TOPEX/Poseidon
satellite.
The computational grid of the model is 1/12° in latitude and longitude,
which corresponds to about 10 km in the N/S direction and about 7 km in the E/W direction.
If you select a location that is on land, the program will find the nearest node on that parallel
that is in the ocean.

Click Get Constituents to get extract tidal constituents from the database for that location.
Then you can proceed to calculate the tides
